About Us

Welcome to Blue Lotus Healing Arts, the healing and teaching practices of Dr. Joy Kachel. Joy is the Spiritual Leader at Unity Church of Peace in Walla Walla, WA. She is also a Master Energy Healer, Reiki Master Teacher, a Spiritual Counselor and an ordained minister. She offers Energy Healing and Reiki healing sessions & classes, advanced healer training, personal insight & spiritual practices classes, spiritual counseling, and life affirming talks, rituals and ceremonies.

Joy is dedicated

to service, healing, community, personal and global transformation. She lives and works from the principle of allowing every action to express love, and believes that all beings - people, animals, plants & Earth - deserve respect, compassion, and peaceful existence.

Joy Has Studied Energy Healing

with Rev. Rosalyn Bruyere of the Healing Light Center Church, Reiki

(Usui Tradition) with Rev. Rhianna Miller and Color Healing with

Rev. Alijandra of Healing with the Rainbow Rays. She has also studied

Sound Healing, Pranic Healing and Theta Healing. Joy holds a Doctor of

Ministry from Wisdom University, a BA in Anthropology & Biology and

an MS in Linguistics & Education, as well as multiple credentials for

teaching and school administration. Joy has been practicing energy healing

and teaching healing classes since 1996.

Joy’s Healing Methods

combine multiple frequencies of Universal & Earth energy, light, sound &

Matrix energies, and prayer to provide a powerful but gentle healing experience. Key to the healing process is the balancing of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of our being. Energy transmission strengthens and supports the body's own natural healing process. It works to recharge, rebalance and realign our energy fields, to reduce stress, relieve pain and gain vital energy. Joy listens deeply to the body and through presence and touch holds sacred space, allowing the body’s own deep knowing to find realignment within itself.

Energy Healing

is also a very effective complement to Western and Eastern medicine and

other alternative therapies. But, energy healing sessions are not medical

treatments, nor does Joy diagnose disease, prescribe or adjust medications. Clients often report experiencing heat, cold, tingling or vibrations in various of their bodies during sessions and express feeling profound relaxation and peace. They also report a reduction or absence of pain and symptoms.

Healing Sessions

are private visits by appointment 7 days a week at Joy’s office, in your home, in the hospital, or even over the phone. Fees vary according to the type of visit and the ability of the client to pay. A typical office visit is $60 for an hour session.

A Reiki Healing Circle

is available at Unity Church of Peace in Walla Walla on the 2nd Sunday of

each month from 3-5 pm. This Healing Circle is free and open to everyone. Donations to Unity Church of Peace are gratefully accepted.
